YUMMY SUNDAY: BINAKI

This is BINAKI. It is made from grated corn and made into a pudding wrapped in the corn’s husk and steamed. This is a yummy treat with Buko juice or chilled Buko meat.. Try it, it’s good..

In Search for Affordable Dining Room Tables

Dining Room Tables are quite expensive these days. Even if you choose the simplest design or the smallest of all sets, they come with a really shocking price. I wanted to buy a new dining room table out of the money I earn online. However, I have decided to wait. While I was waiting, my parents bought a new dining room table and gave me their old one.. Ah.. Praise the Lord, I got my new dining tableĀ  for free.

Seriously, I am thankful for the old dining table of my parents and I have had our connection ever since I was in the elementary grade. It has witnessed many of my ups and downs, my academic struggles and late nights studying, as I have beenĀ  fond of studying in the dining hall rather than in my room. Now, Lili and I do our math and our reading in that same dining room table.. Every time I tell Lili that, she tells me the table is old… We both laugh..

Anyway, although we now have a dining table to use, I am still in search for affordable dining room tables.. I could just imagine the table giving up on us in the near future..

Better be prepared for that one..

YUMMY SUNDAY: Chicken BBQ

Sweet and I had dinner last night at Mang Inasal before we went about our Night Cafe adventures into the ukay-ukay stands.. Above is what I ordered along with a Mais con Yelo, while Sweet’s order comprised of Pork BBQ and Soda..

Is it Time?

I overheard two people talking while I was at this specific Yahoo chat room. One was asking the other person: “Is it time to buy gold bullion?”… I was just listening unmindful of their conversations. Then I heard the older guy say that Gold will soon be very much a commodity in the Thai capital market. Well, it should follow because Gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will soon be hitting the Thailand stock market after the recent approval by The Capital Market Supervisory Board. As the board oversees all rule making for the Thai capital market, they agreed last month to permit two different types of gold ETFs into the market, and that’s ETF feeder fund investing in an overseas gold fund and an ETF directly investing in gold bullion in the local market.

Well, I was not eavesdropping… I just overheard them speak through voice-chat..
