Imagine GOLD..

If you check what’s going on in the trade of Gold, it was somehow noted that the  Greek financial situations have turned investors towards less risky assets instead of investing in Gold. It was often noticed that when the value of the dollar declines, the value of gold goes up.  But  because of the rumored Greek debt crisis,  investors have become anxious about the  risks in  the gold  market. According to speculations, the investors’  concern over Greece’s capability to pay financial obligations  caused the dollar to rise a little bit, and a decline in the euro was noted there after. Although gold is still holding up to other commodities like oil and also other metals like palladium,  investors are thinking rather doubtfully over the risk factors involved.

So I am thinking, if all people will invest and buy gold bullion, maybe it will even more cause the decline of its value.. for now anyway.. I am sure it will go up again soon.

and they’ll wed…

Our house help from two years ago came by the house the other day, bringing with her cheap wedding programs, to invite me and my siblings to their simple yet heart warming union come May 19 in Claveria, this province. Along with her is her soon to be husband of  whom, she was engaged to for two years.

On their wedding program, as we read, are the names of our parents, who they are still about to ask to be one of the principal sponsors. Funny. The wedding program was already prepared without the proper consent and acceptance of our parents. But then again, my parents never really mind occasional invitations to be part of the principal sponsors.  To them, it is a blessing and an honor to be given such worthy task of bringing couples together especially when the rigors and the trials of marriage life comes to a peak. I have been a witness to countless break ups, marriage encounter sponsorships and counseling done by my parents to their wedding “inaanaks”. Some end up in a more productive reformed marriage, while others end up in legal separation or annulment.  Well, at least my parents tried to help their “inaanaks” in saving their marriage and keeping their family intact. I think that is the principal duty of every principal sponsor. It does not end after the marriage rites or the giving of the wedding gifts and tokens.

THE HORSE RACE & THE BET

A couple almost went crazy as to decide annulment ASAP. The husband was said to be drawn profusely to his horse racing betting habit, where he prefers horse race betting than remembering his wife’s birthday and missing the birthday dinner, as well as the birthday gift, but not his horse racing bet.

If  you are the wife, how would you deal with this horse loving husband?

Gabriel’s New Hobby

I read about it in his text messages. I read about it in his email. I read about it in his blog. And now, I am listening to him talk about it on YM voice chat. Gabriel dearest, why do you have to tell me all about it? Are you trying to convince me so I can get hooked like you?

Hahaha.. just wanna have a dramatic into there. My long time Canadian chat friend, Gabriel Paul is into Online Casino. As opposed to Online Gambling, Gabriel is hooked on what we can consider as a mild form of gambling, and that form, Online Casino Games, is actually very relaxing for most people. To Gab,  this is more than just relaxation,  especially because he works 5 days straight with his back breaking, earth shaking, mind boggling and physically draining job at the hotel. whew..  And if we are not miles apart, I swear I could recommend all my friends and classmates at Fatima to give him the relaxing massage our center is most known for. Ah.. The works! But I guess Gab is contented with his off duty games.

Anyway, he was trying to convince me to join him since he saw that I am mostly online these days. I told him that I wouldn’t be a good partner for doubles since I am not at all familiar with the games of casino, but my dear friend is insistent. Hmm.. I am afraid I may as well give in one of these days, lol..

But, with the rotational brown out and all, I doubt it. It is not a good idea to be thrilled and all and then be cut off from the fun because CEPALCO decided to kill electricity without you ever knowing why the schedule was not followed.. Ahhh..

So my dearest Gab, I know you are reading this.. hahaha.. I know it is fun playing your games and all, but I think I will consider your invitation if and when the rotational brown out is over…
