Below are two of Lili’s and Baby Eleanor’s photos..

When she was three, Lili wanted to be called Ate.. I had 2 assistants at Honeysweet who came and worked for me while they were pregnant and Lili often became excited for their babies to come out.. When Carmz came to live and work with us, she was pregnant, and Lili was even more excited because she knew the baby will live with us too, or so she hoped. When Carmz left to give birth at their province, Lili became sad and asked me why we couldn’t keep the babies of my former assistants, and Carmz as well. So I had to explain and tell her the truth about the said births and she somehow understood. Then she asked me that I should also have a baby in my tummy so she will become an “Ate”.. All the more I explained the impossibility of the said request for the moment. And told her to pray instead.  A few days later, her prayer was answered, because Carmz came home when Baby Eleanor has not yet reached her first month from birth. Well, blame it on or thank the “Manigbasay” that killed women and girls in the province where Carmz was from.. For fear of their lives, her father told her to come back to us instead of coming home after 2-3 months after birth..  So now, Lili is Baby Eleanor’s Ate..

When the rotational brown out started, I bought the powder you see here because of its cooling effect. Not only for me but most especially for Lili and River who often complained of the warm weather and the heat.. But then, too much of this powder is not desirable for they often would complain that the cooling  sensation also stings their skin. So, after the first and only bottle was consumed, we bought the usual Johnson’s Baby Powder.

Then the two became happy again.. Well, who wouldn’t? It’s now raining, and the rains make it cooler than the effect of the powder in photo..

In my blog hosted promo at Just the Tip of an Iceberg, The Search for the Toughest Jobs Philippines 2010, I am considering people with morgue jobs to join. Well, not just considering, but I am hoping someone who works at a morgue will join. See, I find such job  difficult and may perhaps be tougher than the toughest. It’s a job that requires more than just strength and determination. Not to mention, compact bravery that will never wither even when  some elemental and ghosts are also in the vicinity.. Well, maybe most of them do not believe such tales, but I do, lol.. .

Anyway, I think it is some job to be proud of, in one way or another. And joining such search will give us a glimpse of what such job is all about.. So for those with Morgue jobs, I am inviting  you to join my contest..
