WBFC #9: Introduction

This is my second time to join this meme.. And what better way to get to know every body in PMC, as how this game is gonna be played this week. So without further ado, let me introduce my self.

My name is Mommy Dharlz, a.k.a. Empowered Mom.  I describe myself as Big, Beautiful and Fabulous.. Of course, if you disagree, it’s your choice and opinion, that will NOT stop me to be.. hehehe I have always lived my life in that attitude.. Kevz kung anong sabihin ng iba!

Family is everything to me. I’m a mom to Lili, sister to River, and aunt to Ira, the very reason I have My Happy Home and More Food Adventures, as we all love to eat and live our lives to the fullest. But then there are monsters who continue to stalk us (if you have read previous entries about the monster/s,you’d know who they are, hehehe), which, by the way is alright. We simply have to Inhale… Exhale.., I am sure that is what you will want to do too. Besides, it’s added traffic for all blogs, hehehe..

Kidding aside, I love to share about anything and everything that comes to mind. I also like the fact that being a teacher and a blogger are two of the things I consider easy to do.. Easy, because I enjoy every moment spent here in the blogosphere. A Teacher’s Journey wont be complete without it…

I started to blog years ago, but “paid blogging” came as a surprise late December of 2007, as it was introduced to me by long time friend, co XU Glee Club member, Amy Nobillos of Amiable Amy. I will forever be grateful for her most convincing tactics..err.. actually, she made me her guinea pig in this arena, hahaha.. But thanks to paid blogging, I resigned from full time teaching two years ago, and made it a part time, until I quit part time teaching last year and made blogging a full time affair. Aside of course from being a full time mom, I have other online gigs add to paid blogging, and life is superb.. Of course, I have met Mommy Ruby, and all other super moms who have inspired me to do so..

When I talk about blogging, or paid blogging, it is NOT what extortionists do or how competitors put it. Mostly it is for paid linking, but what I most like about blogging is that it allows me to express myself and speak about issues and some of my advocacy and wishes…  Like,  empowering women and listening to Voices of Women Online… or supporting the RH Bill and giving inputs and relaying information about Family Planning Online. But what I am most happy about is when I share Proven Home Remedies, which are actually beneficial for all.

From serious stuff to mundane, from Honeysweet Learning to Manigbasay Chronicles,  to CDO Extreme sports and gaming, that is what blogging is… everything Just The Tip Of An Iceberg.. It’s fun, and it is more fun to meet real people along the way..

I thank all of my friends and blogging family, beautiful and supportive Pinays at Pinay Mommies Community as well as the very energetic fellow Kagay-anons who blog,  CDO Bloggers… Special thanks To Miss Janette Toral… I love and cherish all of you.. and because I love my city, Cagayan de Oro, I will forever say: I Blog U CDO!
